Big Buddhist Gathering 3(1/10/2008-2/10/2008)
I attended a so called 'gathering' on Hari Raya at the Guan Yin Temple at PJ, near Newtown there. It was expected to have 80 over participants but only 30 turned up.
Anyway, the gathering was started with some ice breaking games. Everybody was really friendly here so we all blended quite quickly. After that, we were split into groups using a very weird way. Throughout the day, there were games and singing with some lesson and moral behind each activities.
After dinner, we were left to socialise with each other freely around the compound. I talked and joked around with my new friends, as though we knew each other for years. All secrets seemed just to leak out just like that (love life etc.). It really wonders me. Only through Buddhist activities that i could meet people who will treat each other like a family.

P/S: the toilet at our accomadation rocks!!!! Equivilent to 5 star hotels. Literally.
