Chromatography of Leaf Pigments =D
Long time no blog liao. Had been really busy the last few days. A-levels getting more and more demanding.
Anyway the latest post today is about one of the lab works i just did recently. Its about chromatography of pigments in the leaf. In simple English its the extraction of pigments from the leaf.
The colours are quite faded though. My dot was not concentrated enough. Anyhow for general knowledge, orange is for carotene, blue green for chlorophyll A, yellowish green for chlorophyll B and yellow for xanthophyll. Didn't manage to get grey though. Haiz.
