Hatyai Trip 2010-Stainless Steel Pagoda
After the makan makan at the floating market, our tour guide brought us to the infamous Stainless Steel Pagoda where the whole structure is made out of stainless steel!
The pagoda is located quite high up on the hills. Those with car motion sickness should pop a pill before starting the journey as the corners are pretty sharp on the way up.
Since i forgotten to bring my tripod, i only can rest my camera on the ground and try my luck. =/ And due to the vast numbers of florescent lights being installed on the pagoda, it totally screwed up the camera's white balance, rendering all the images looking greenish.
Since i don't shoot RAW, i had quite a hard time fixing the WB. =/

Another shot of the pagoda.
The staircase up the pagoda.
Interior of the pagoda.
Very unique architecture.
Some decos in the pagoda.
The walls of the pagoda outside. All these round things are actually coins!
And lastly..a picture of the monks and nuns performing Night Puja.
