Seoul Trip 2010-Day 1, Flight to Incheon & Co-Op Residence Seoul
Continuation from Seoul Trip 2010-Sneak peak:
After 6 hours of flight, I finally arrived Incheon International Airport at 9pm local time. I really regretted not bringing a neck rest as it was really hard to sleep when the seats are so cramped! Do note that Seoul is ONE HOUR (GMT+9) ahead of Malaysia. Hence, the sun rises faster and sets faster than here.
This was one of the first few flights by Air Asia to fly to Seoul. It cost RM1299 which includes flight, accommodation, 1 day tour as well as bus transfers between the hotels and airport. This was one of the cheapest time to fly to Seoul and it was really worth it!
A dedicated line just for this flight

Seats of the Airbus 330. Quite small and cramped but still very very acceptable for this price.
Flight attendent serving food.
Why is AAX London's food doing on a Korean flight? Leftovers?@@
Then again..this chicken lasagna is niceeeeee..
Arrival Hall
Old man refilling water
Water refilling counters are abundant almost everywhere in popular tourist destinations. So you need not worry about buying water. Just carry a water bottle with you will do.
The big crowd
Main arrival hall
Since Air Asia did not serve dinner, we had to buy our own food when we reached the airport. It was already 11pm and everybody was starving. KFC & MCD was the only viable choice left as we need to board the tour bus soon.
Burgers not found in Malaysia
The Tower Burger -Hashbrown, Cheese, Spicy & Crunchy Chicken Patty
Boarding the tour bus
After a 1 hour journey, we arrived at Co-Op Residence Seoul where we stayed for the night. Since it was almost winter, there was no air conditioning. All we had to do was to open our windows and let the cold air come in and do its magic.

The bed....
..and everything else. Very very compact.
Night shot from the balcony. Still not that cold at that time. Was only in slippers LOL
My room door. =D
From the design of the room you can see that this place is really suitable for guests who wish to stay long periods of time with all the kitchen utensils all well prepared. Unfortunately I think this place is a bit out of the city and travelling to various destinations can be a problem.

Thank you!
The seats can be reclined but the space between each row of seats is rather limited. So you can't really recline that much as you may cause discomfort to the passenger behind you. Hope this helps :)
