Langkawi Trip - Bird Paradise & Wildlife Park
This is a MUST visit place if you are into getting close with animals and birds!! I did not plan to visit this place but i just happened to pass by on my way to Oriental Village, but this is the one of the most worth-ed ticket that I had paid for during my stay at Langkawi.
This park is located right beside the main road. With a Langkawi map or GPS in hand it would be quite easy to spot. Entrance ticket costs RM12 and food for feeding the animals costs RM6. The Zon duty free is also located here if you plan to stock up some duty free items.
As you enter a staff will let you pose with a few birds to take a photo. Quite an interesting experience.
As you enter the premises you will be greeted with birds and animals roaming freely, and some in cages. It's the first time in my life that I've come SO close to these animals and it is really enriching. The food that is sold earlier when we entered can be used to feed the animals. Different animals/birds have different preferences so be sure to test them out!
We also had the chance to go really really close with peacocks in another enclosure! It's my first time seeing male peacocks showing off their lovely feathers so up close! But be careful though, they might bite.
Most epic signage ever.

Feeding chicks
Parrots love kuaci!
Sleeping flamingo! The flamingo's are literally only 1 metre away from me in their pool!
Mandarin ducks! Or 鸳鸯 in Mandarin.
鸳鸯戏水!
A very huge crocodile! almost 10 metres in length! It's a good thing this was kept in the cage though.
Other animals in the cage but some have dedicated gaps for you to feed them food.
Weird looking chickens
Mouse dears
Crane
Some stork/crane
Really huge looking porcupines
Ducks swimming.
After going through all the birds we entered another section which hosted a field of rabbits, as well as donkeys. This has GOT to be the most fun filled section of the whole park. The rabbits here are allowed to roam freely on a small patch of land and there is a nursery at the corner where they house baby rabbits which are absolutely adorable!
